The day I discovered the power of natural health alternatives was the day everything changed—not just for me, but for my entire family. It was the turning point in a 10+ year battle for my life, my health, and the well-being of my children.
My hormonal nightmare began shortly after the birth of my first child. What should have been one of the happiest times in my life turned into a daily fight to survive. I was exhausted—barely able to get out of bed, with hair falling out, pale skin, relentless weight gain, and an overwhelming sense of misery. I remember lying in bed, breastfeeding my sweet baby boy, too weak to even sit up, yet determined to give him the best nutrition I could. I was 26 years old, staring at the ceiling, wondering, Is this really what my life is going to be like from now on?
Doctor after doctor, test after test—no one had answers. I heard the same dismissive explanations: "You just had a baby. Some women take longer to recover." But I knew deep down, this wasn’t normal. My turning point came in an older doctor’s office—he wasn’t even accepting new patients, but after my desperate plea, he agreed to see me. Within minutes, he identified the issue, confirmed it with the right tests, and prescribed thyroid medication.
It was a small victory. While I regained some strength, I still felt off. The symptoms lingered, and I struggled to adjust to a “new normal” that never felt quite right.
By the time I was 30, pregnant with twins, my obstetrician delivered another blow: “You’re prediabetic, and you’ll likely be a full-blown diabetic by 35.” She was right—by medical standards. But what she didn’t know was that I refused to accept that as my lifelong destiny.
When my twins began suffering from repeated ear infections, I dove headfirst into researching natural medicine. What I discovered was life changing. I began to see not only my health improve but also my husband & children’s. The natural remedies I explored healed the twins ear infections and opened my eyes to a world of possibilities that traditional medicine had overlooked.
It was through these experiences—fighting for my health, finding answers when no one else could, and witnessing the power of natural alternatives—that my mission was born. I knew women like me needed to hear this: You don’t have to settle. You have options. You can heal.
In January of 2012, Drops of Health Wellness Center came to life. It became a place where women could find the answers they’ve been searching for, where families could be empowered to take control of their health, and where hope could replace frustration.
Today, I dedicate my life to helping women restore balance, regain energy, and thrive. Hormonal health isn’t just about healing—it’s about reclaiming your life, your joy, and your future. If my journey has taught me anything, it’s this: There’s always hope, and there’s always a way forward.
Let me walk with you on your journey to healing. You are not alone. 💜
